Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father abandoned her family when she wasn't even yet a teenager. Brink was just 14 when she became pregnant, then dropped out of high her school. Davion was her son who was born at 14 years old. Brink then was moved to an apartment in the home of her mother in order to make money. Her first band, Pulse from Albany New York began in 1995. They mostly played local bands such as Coal Chamber or Sevendust. The members split up later. As a 25-year-old She made the leap out of California in 2002 to Los Angeles searching for her break. Brink started working in stores, and sing in pubs. Her search was for groups. Then, two years later, she met band singer Chris Howorth at an audition. Howorth turned her down because she's a woman. After he listened to her Howorth's performance, he changed his mind and apologized. They started the Dying Stars group with Jeff Fabb, a drummer. Blake Bunzel, Josh Newell and Josh Bunzel were later joined to the group. In This Moment became the new name for the band following two live performances.
