Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rap singer who has a unique style. Baker was born April 22 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents are missionaries. When he was a young boy his travels, he was often with them. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment while his mom Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker, his father, and his aunt moved across the state from Denver and moved to Denver. Baker's poor status was the main reason for children being bullied around him. He started listening to rap at the age of sixth grade. Colson Baker is also referred to as Machine Gun Kelly was born on the 22nd of April, 1990 in Texas in the U.S. He has been credited with combining modern and alternative hip-hop with the rock genre in his compositions. Baker has released four mixtapes over the years between 2007-2010 prior signing with Bad Boy Records. Then in the latter half of 2011, the Cleveland rapper became a household name after he transitioned from self-releasing his mixtapes to signing with respected labels. Then his career exploded with every one of his albums ranking in the top 10.
